Apple, Android Surge In Smartphones, Nip At Nokia
Apple’s iPhone OS surged past Microsoft Windows Mobile to hold the third spot, selling nearly 25 million units to nearly double its market share, from 8.2 to 14.4 percent. Research In Motion kept its second-place standing, as its market share moved from 16.6 to 19.9 percent.
