Asuming your OS is windows XP
First of all lets configure any one laptop, just any one,
Just double click the wireless network icon &gt; then click over &quot;change advanced settings&quot; after this a &quot;wireless network connection properties&quot; window will appear. There click over &quot;wireless networks&quot; tab.
Now click over &quot;Add&quot; button. now type any name like &quot;test&quot; in the &quot;Network Name (SSID) field. Next select Network authentication &quot;OPEN&quot; and data encryption &quot;Disabled&quot;. Now at the bottom you will find a selection box &quot;This is a computer to computer network(ad-hoc)network; wireless access points are not used. just select this box and press ok dont select anything else.
Now on the other laptop:(Note: you can connect more that one laptops. Follow the below procedure for all other laptops)
double click the wireless network icon, you will see other laptop &quot;test&quot;, just double click it and you are connected buddy.
But remember one more thing, You must have assigned IP addresses to both of the laptops in the TCP/IP properties of wireless connection.
